WHO I AM
At heart, I'm an automotive enthusiast. For as long as I can remember, I've been obsessed with cars. Growing up, I never really knew what I wanted to do, but I knew I had to be in the automotive world.
Fast forward to today, I've been fortunate enough to work for a major automotive company and work in a field that I love.

Candidly, I'm a sucker for Toyotas. I appreciate the philosophy of Toyota vehicles and all of their counterparts. My first car was my mom's 2005 Toyota Camry LE, which is what started it all. I appreciated its reliability and fuel efficiency, especially on a high schooler's budget.
The faithful Camry served me until after I graduated college. That's when I bought a 2012 Lexus IS 250, which I loved. After about two years of ownership, I got rid of the IS for a 2012 Lexus GX 460, otherwise known as a Land Cruiser Prado overseas. I loved the GX dearly, but I ultimately wanted to get back into something a bit more exciting.
I've recently traded in the GX and bought a Lexus IS 350 F Sport. The IS has been a blast to drive so far and is currently stock at the moment, but we always know how that goes...
HOW ITÂ STARTED
For years, friends and family have come to me when they have any questions about cars. While I work in the auto industry, I'm constantly researching, watching, and learning about the automotive world on my spare time. I love going to car events and meeting drivers who are just as passionate as I am about these machines.
With such an interest in the auto world, it's no surprise that my close circle has counted on me for auto advice. Finally, one day I decided that I wanted to share my thoughts in a broader way. That's when the idea of Driven With a Purpose started.

I founded Driven With a Purpose with a mission to provide others with my thoughts and knowledge about the auto industry. Truthfully, Driven With a Purpose is mainly a way for me to express my passion for cars. It's my own little project that I hope fuels your interest in cars.

With that being said, I don't know everything and I'd love for this to be a place where gear heads and enthusiasts can also share their thoughts and knowledge. Help me build a community around Driven With a Purpose by asking questions, starting discussions, and actively engaging with my blog!
